According to Mikala: This was a fun little boat trip to the British Virgin Islands during our stay on St. John. I got a chance to use my new passport, so it now has one stamp in it! We rented a speed boat from Naughty Nymph, which is located at the Westin in St. John. Phil was driving, and I was hanging on for dear life in the back. Each wave we hit, I thought I was going to go flying out the back. It was a very nice view though. All of the islands in the US and British Virgin Islands are located very close to each other, so it is very pretty boating around there.

This day was a little cloudy and rainy. We finally made it to Jost Van Dyke and tied up to the boat pier at Foxy's. After getting our passports stamped, we headed over to Foxy's for drinks. It was still early in the day, so I don't think they were officially open. They were cooking up a huge barbeque, but we found out it was for a group of cruise ship passengers that were coming later. Phil was able to buy some for our trip out ($20 per person, but it was real good).

We boated along Jost Van Dyke and around Sandy Spit and Sandy Cay...little sandy non-inhabited islands.

We only had the boat for one day, so were weren't able to explore some other islands in the British Virgin Islands. We hope to do so in the future.
